| WHAT WE HAVE DONE TO MAKE OUR 2009 Z30 ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLE BETTER |

2009 Z30 Electric Motorcycle versus past models
The 2009 Z30 is almost identical to the 2007 Z-20b in body style, which we have found to be better than the very attractive but less functional model 2007 Z-20a. However, technically there are significant improvements. Here is a look at what is superior.
•The Z30 has a 3000-Watt, three-phase, 60-Volt, Brushless Hub Motor built on a 10 Inch Rim and sports 10 Inch X 3.5, 6 ply DOT tires.
•The new motor is capable of reaching a maximum speed of approximately 45 MPH (72 KPH) but with superior torque and climbing ability. It has been kicked-up from 2500-Watts to 3000-Watts.
•To make it easier and less expensive to replace plastic parts, the 2009 Model Z30 (as well as the R30) is only available in two colors: Metallic Red or Metallic Blue
•The body and frame of the Z30 are sturdier and better fit with 99% stainless steel nuts, bolts, washers and screws.
•The floorboard is covered with a thick customized floor rug.
•The range of the bike should exceed a 30-mile range at normal cruising speed when used with fully charged good working batteries.*
•A customized Kelly Controller with built-in overheat preventer and amperage reducer has superseded prior controllers. It has been tested under extreme conditions with excellent results.
Note: effective as of June 1, 2009: The Customized Kelly Controller Kit, which can be installed in our prior models, can be purchased from us directly for $439.00 plus the cost of shipping and handling. The Customized Controller Kit consists of the following:
1. Kelly KEB Brushless Motor Controller KEB72600
2. Aluminum mounting plate
3. Wire harness with special connectors
4. Mounting nuts and bolts
5. Installation Instructions
Additional note: If you only need the Controller (KEB72600) without the Kit Components, the price is $369.00 plus shipping and handling.
•The Z30 will no longer have an alarm or a kickstand on-and-off relay that proved to be unreliable in our prior productions. The Kill Switch will remain a safety feature. The alarm is replaced with a stainless steel disc brake lock included with purchase.
•A windshield assembly kit ($75) and a trunk assembly kit ($125) are optional and must be ordered separately. The trunk comes only in one color: Black.
•The 2009 Z30 model has superior heavy-duty rear air shock absorbers and significantly stronger front shock absorbers providing a smoother ride.
•Superior DOT compliant front and rear disc brakes.
•We have graduated to an advanced DC to DC Converter (60V to 12V) with an inline fuse for added safety and able to handle higher peak current.
•The new extra tough durable harness installed is made to European standards, shielded for ultrasound frequencies; simplified for functionality and better color-coded to insure continuity and easier maintenance.
•The dash now contains a speedometer/odometer with both MPH and KPH with European standards of accuracy (the displayed speed-Actual Speed) X 1% +4km and a fiber optics glowing needle.
•The Z30 now has more clearance under the frame and battery primarily due to the new shocks.
•The Z30 is powered by five (5) - 12V, 35AH sealed lead acid batteries customized for EVTAMERICA R and Z models.
•Lighting systems is completely DOT compliant.
•Customized automatic 60V Chargers (they turn off automatically when the batteries are charged) come with each vehicle
.
Note: If you need an extra Customized Automatic Charger (60V/5A LAB Charger Model No: 6010SR) for any R or Z model you may purchase it from us at $248.00 plus shipping and handling.
* Range will vary depending on the weight of the rider/s, terrain, wind resistance and road conditions. Example: a run on a relatively flat road with few stops and a 180lb rider will get much better range than a hilly road with multiple stops, and a 280lb rider. Range is in direct proportion to consumption of energy. The slower you drive the further you will go. Stop and go with full acceleration after each stop may cut the range by as much as fifty percent. Just like cars have better mileage on the highway and less in city driving, the same happens with an electric vehicle. It’s all about energy consumption.
